Welcome to Temple Kol Ami Emanu-El in cyber-space. Actually, we are a warm and welcoming Congregation in person – something which might be difficult to portray on our web site, try as we might. Nonetheless, we want to communicate with our community in a multiple of ways, and this is the way of the present and perhaps the way of the future as well!
I would hope that you would look through our web pages and discover how active and diverse our Congregation is. Our religious services for Shabbat, the Festivals, Holidays and High Holy Days reflect a variety of themes, even as we promote in everything we do the mission of our Temple: “The Creative Perpetuation of Judaism and its Values.” Our schools, social activities, auxiliaries, outreach programs, social justice projects and all that we do reflect this mission as well.
We are proud of our Temple, as we reach inward to nurture our Jewish selves, while at the same time reach outward to our wider community.
I hope you will take the opportunity to contact us, either by email, or by phone, or even better, in person. We look forward to welcoming you to the Family of Temple Kol Ami Emanu-El.
B’Shalom,
Rabbi Sheldon J. Harr |
